Saddened to learn Jim Kimball has passed. He was the ferociously intense drummer for Laughing Hyenas, Mule, Denison/Kimball Trio, and The Jesus Lizard for a spell. Crain played several shows with the Hyenas and was floored how truly pummeling he was. Illustration by Bill Widener
